Libertas Integrative Health offers Holistic/alternative medicine, group weight loss and nutritional counseling, bio energetic testing for root cause analysis, IV infusion therapy, individualized holistic care plans, telemedicine, bio-identical hormone replacement.

I firmly believe that the body is made to heal itself and, when given the right tools through nutrition, detoxification and proper supplementation, it will do just that, even reversing disease conditions. This practice is designed not to manage people in their illnesses but to work alongside them to help rid them of their disease process and re-create a healthy, healing state in the body.

Biography

Sarah E. Russell is a family nurse practitioner in Culpeper, VA with over 16 years of experience. Graduating in 2004, She has specialized in alternative medicine, bio-identical hormone replacement, endocrinology, and emergency medicine. She is passionate about finding the root causes of health conditions and treating that cause so that patients can live healthy lives and be their best selves! She has over 7 years of emergency medicine experience and 18 years of urgent and family practice care. From newborns to the elderly, Sarah seeks to be engaged and personal with each patient to help them reach their health goals.

Sarah is wife to Jon Russell and homeschools her 4 children. She enjoys hiking, cooking, gardening, reading and playing music on piano or guitar. With a Christian worldview, Sarah’s first priority is to love God and through Him to love others. She desires to serve as a medical missionary locally and abroad.

Biography

Leigh Ann has been an Adult Nurse Practitioner for over 10 years. Her prior experience was in internal medicine, chronic care management and population health. Currently, she is training and practicing functional medicine. She believes the best healthcare approach involves addressing nutritional, physical and spiritual deficits. Foundationally, she believes we were each created uniquely and should have an equally matched unique approach to our health.

She resides in Culpeper with her husband and three daughters. She spends her time homeschooling her children, cooking and enjoying the outdoors. When her youngest daughter was born with a rare, incurable metabolic condition, Leigh Ann began searching for an approach to healthcare that addressed foundational issues more than the traditional medicine she was formerly practicing. She holds a Christian worldview and Leigh Ann believes serving God’s purpose in her life is her biggest priority.

​Practically, Leigh Ann sees adults and teens over the age of 13. Her interest and experience are with chronic conditions, specifically cardiometabolic conditions. She believes gut health is a principal concern for many people and will work to understand the root of your health concerns while addressing modifiable factors. Plan to spend at least one to one and a half hours with Leigh Ann on your first visit

CarolAnne Olon, a family nurse practitioner who has trained with Sarah last year, has a background as an infusion nurse, triage and charge nurse in the emergency department and medical surgical nurse.
